PC Housekeeping: An Overview

A little bit of housekeeping can go a long way to keeping your PC up to speed and in good condition so it's worthwhile adopting a routine of regular and simple PC maintenance.

• Run Spybot to get rid of any Spyware that has been sapping your systems resources. (See PC Doctor+ Guide 3)
• Run REGCLEAN (downloadable from the utility downloads above) to tidy up your system registry
• Run programs/accessories/system tools/disk clean up to remove any obsolete or temporary files.
• Run programs/accessories/system tools/disk defragmenter on all hard drives
