The fourth major release in just three years, Panther offers breakthroughs in innovation, ease-of-use and reliability that won’t be seen in other operating systems for years, if ever.

To help smooth the transition from Mac OS X v10.2 to Mac OS X v10.3 “Panther”, Apple has set up a series of Up-To-Date programmes. For instance, if you purchased a qualifying new Macintosh computer on or after October 8th, 2003, that did not have Panther included, you can upgrade to Panther for the cost of shipping the product to you.
