About Us

 

ARRIVAL Computers was set up in November 1998 when it opened it's first retail shop in Park Road, Hartlepool.

 

Opening the shop so close to Christmas resulted in our initial concentration on computer sales. By the end of that first festive season, after some aggressive advertising and pricing, some 30 new computers had been sold.

 

Having got off to a flying start the shop soon established itself as an upgrade and repair centre with numerous customers bringing in computers from all sorts of manufacturers for upgrades or repair.

 

The inconvenience of having to disconnect and transport a computer to a Town Centre shop was a frequent complaint of our customers which prompted us to launch a mobile service which we named PC Doctor+.

 

The PC Doctor+ Service has always been a great success and we were soon receiving calls from the larger Teesside and Peterlee areas. So much so that we found ourselves concentrating more and more on upgrade and repair work.

 

Over time our reputation among the business community grew which was confirmed when Staples asked us to take on their warranty work.

 

As the business grew we started to provide our own Internet Services and now offer everything from hosting to design. We expect the Internet side of the business to grow exponentially over the next few years.

 

In the latter half of 2003 we will be moving into a second office located in Middlesbrough Centre. This is primarily so that we can be more centrally located to maintain the rapid response times that our business customers require.

 

Our empathy with the SME Business sector, which this web site demonstrates admirably, has played a large part in our success within that sector. The opening of the Middlesbrough Office is expected to help continue that growth further.

 

Although this web site was intended primarily as a shop window for our own services, it's popularity has been helped by the inclusion of additional content.  This additional content is intended to encourage users to appreciate the versatility of today's computers and to help them get the most out of their investment.
